What the 2024 Coin Medallion looks like will be revealed to registered treasure hunters early in the hunt!

This Treasure Hunt could be solved with the very first clue if you are clever enough!

READ ALL, TWICE AT LEAST

​

• You MUST register individually with a working email to be eligible to win. 

• Donations/Partnerships accepted for treasure hunt prizes: Venom/PayPal @originovel/originovel@gmail.com

• By registering you release & hold harmless those who participate, plan, & produce the event

• The Treasure Hunt begins Monday, Oct. ? in Raleigh continuing until someone has found the coin by Oct. ?

• Optional Launch Event at Flying Saucer, 7 pm Monday, Oct ?. No overt clues given. The host will buy you a beer.

• The first clue goes out via email in the AM on the first day. Other clue releases will go out to all treasure hunters at random times each day until the 2024 coin is found.

• Clues are guaranteed each day with everyone getting the clues emailed at the same time as everyone else.

• Individuals, Teams, and Groups are all welcome as long as each participant registers separately

• An adult 21+ must present the coin medallion to claim the treasure chest full of gift card prizes in a chest

• If you have teamed up with other registered individuals, you decide what to share/how to split the treasure

• The coin finder could be featured on this website and on social media

• Take only notes and pictures *and the coin medallion* if you find it ~ Do. Not. Take. Clues. 

• The coin's hiding spot is no higher than 6 feet and no lower than 6 inches from the ground

• No digging. No digging. Did you hear? No digging!

• No structure or object needs to be disturbed, moved, or touched to find the coin medallion

• No need to go searching for the coin medallion indoors, it is not inside anywhere

• No touching art, displays, murals, or... really, anything but the coin

• No disturbing any people that may or may not be involved in the hunt

• The Winner will be announced via email immediately upon their successful communication with us

• Follow on Instagram with the hashtag #sparkconquest and @originovel for updated information

• Most major clues will come via email and some could be repeated on social media

• Official Registration ends at midnight the Sunday before the first day of the hunt

• Double-check your email and then LOOK for a clue in your Confirmation Email. Don't miss this!!!

• Want to share theories, thoughts, or your finds on social media? We do not care. However, you are responsible for the consequences of doing such actions. You never know who else is in on the hunt or lurking for info

• Any person found in violation of these rules will, at the discretion of the organizer, be deemed ineligible for the prize, even if you found the medallion
