​What the 2026 Coin Proxy looks like will be revealed to registered treasure hunters at the beginning of the hunt!

• You must register individually with a working email -even if on a team-  to be eligible to win.

• By registering you release & hold harmless those who participate, plan, & produce the event

• The Treasure Hunt begins Sunday, Oct. 11 in Raleigh at 10am at a location given to registered paarticipants

• Individuals, Teams, and Groups are all welcome as long as each participant registers separately

• An adult 21+ must present the coin medallion to claim the treasure 

• If you have teamed up with other registered individuals, you must decide what to share/how to split the treasure

• The coin finder could be featured on this website and on social media

• Take only notes, pictures, and the coin medallion - if you find it.  Do. Not. Take. Clues. 

• The coin's hiding spot is no higher than 6 feet and is not buried.

• No digging. No digging. No digging!

• No need to go searching for the coin medallion indoors; it is not inside anywhere.

• No touching art, displays, or murals is needed.

• No disturbing any people that may or may not be involved in the hunt

• The Winner will be announced via email immediately upon their successful communication with us if before 2pm

• Follow on Instagram with the hashtag #sparkconquest and @originovel for updated information

• Most major clues will come on social media only after it appears that people are stuck on hints

• Double-check your email

• Want to share theories, thoughts, or your finds on social media? We do not care.

• Any person found in violation of these rules will, at the discretion of the organizer, be deemed ineligible for the prize, even if you found the medallion
